Monday was Jacob's 20th birthday. I always laugh at the improvisations one must make while in college and am reminded of this especially while celebrating birthdays. Because the weekdays are always so busy for both Jacob and I, we decided to celebrate over the weekend. We went to a Mexican restaurant (his choice) for dinner, opened presents, and spent some much needed quality time together. On his actual birthday we were blessed to have a leaders meeting for youth group and were taken out to Culvers for more celebration and discussion of youth happenings at church.

It was truly a blessing to celebrate 20 years of life with Jacob and see how much he has grown, matured, and experienced especially for the seven or so years we've been together through friendship and dating :) Happy Birthday Jacob, may your next year of life be filled with joys and trials that will bring you closer to the Lord every step of the way.
Also, a happy birthday shout out to my little sister Leah whose birthday is TODAY and my beautiful and respected roommate Jackie whose birthday is this Friday... what a week of birthdays it is :)
