A Dear Friend.

My Letter From Weston
Today was a beautiful day. Sun, laughter, renewed strength, freshly picked flowers, recognized transformation. It was all so great. But an extra little slice of joy and peace arrived in my mailbox today... a letter from my dear friend Weston who is in the Marines! I have sent him a few things in the past month or two, especially for his birthday at the beginning of the month but never expect much back simply because he's in the middle of an ocean 95% of this deployment and is obviously quite busy. Today however I received a four page front and back detailed letter of his life, funny stories, answers to all my curious questions, comfort, encouragement to both Jacob and I, and much much more. I squealed, giggled, teared up...the emotions were overwhelming but a true and pure reminder of the relationship between him, Jacob, and I that I truly value and miss greatly.

Weston and I!
Friends, if you wouldn't mind spending a few extra minutes in prayer today, would you please pray for Weston? I know lots of people pray in general for those overseas but now you can have a name and a face. Pray that Weston would be sanctified and strengthened by Christ alone and he may persevere through the face of the world in the Marines. Pray that truth may renew his mind day in and day out and all thoughts may be held obedient to our Lord. I thank you greatly for your partnership in prayer.

We love you Weston :) Thank you so much for your support, encouragement, and joyful spirit even from across the world. Jacob and I are both so thankful for the relationship we each have with you and cannot wait till you come home for your next break...wahoo it will be so great. Until then, we will continue to lift you up in prayer and support you however we can.

Weston, Me, and Jacob as Little Babies :)
