It's still hard for me to grasp that summer is actually here and this is not just another break. However I have been very blessed with my job, catching up with friends, and slowing life down for the time being to truly enjoy where I am at. The past few days mine and Jacob's good friend Jessica came up to the Twin Cities to visit before she heads off on a summer of service to Indonesia with my roommate Jackie. We had an awesome time with lots of laughter, murder mysteries, and driving around downtown. The highlight though was definitely the Jenny and Tyler concert we attended who are absolutely beautiful musicians and I highly encourage you to check out their music. Anyways, pictures can probably show our time together better than words, so take a look :)

Overall it was so valuable to spend a few days with "little" Jessica. Even though we're sad she won't be with us for the next two months we are so excited for the journey ahead of her and where the Lord will lead her in both truth and understanding of the world and who He is. I pray that every moment would be filled with glory and adoration to the Lord and that joy would abound from relationships formed and lessons learned.Labels: a day in the life, food, friendship, missions, Summer, travel
