Five years later...and leave it to Weston to wear the same shirt :) |
Remember when I was super excited about the letter my dear friend Weston wrote me back in the spring? Well no longer do I have to imagine his voice updating me with all the hooplah of the marines because he is home on leave for two weeks! I had the great joy and blessing of going to breakfast with him and Jake. These two men have been my side for years. We have encouraged, convicted, and loved one another as well as laughed probably way too much. It truly is a beautiful relationship between the three of us and I am so thankful that even while Jacob and I are dating now, we have acquired the role of Weston's 'prayer warriors' while he is out defending our country. We miss him here at home but are assured the Lord has a plan and purpose for this time away and is using Weston in remarkable ways."For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations." Psalm 100:5
