Because this weekend wasn't the traditional what with Thanksgiving thrown in the mix, I've decided to do something different for this past weekend wrap-up.
This Thanksgiving has looked very different from most as I am here on duty at school. However I have been blessed in a variety of other ways and am so thankful for many people and gifts of life this season.
I am thankful for my Holy Lord who is the ultimate giver of all gifts and is to be thanked and loved with every ounce of my heart, mind, soul, and strength.
I am thankful for a community that loves and supports me both near and far.
I am thankful for smiles, tears, awkward encounters, and vulnerable moments that add to the beauty of life.
I am thankful for a college career in which I can discover more of who I am in Christ through the use of my mind academically.
I am thankful for the eb and flow of life, seasons that bring both change and consistency.
I am thankful for trees, flowers, cool breezes, clouds, water, mountains, sunny days...all of nature that reveals the majesty of the wonderful creator.
I am thankful for the opportunity to be an RA and grow together with precious and dearly loved sisters.
I am thankful for music that so eloquently puts otherwise unlabeled emotions and feelings into words.
I am thankful for people's stories.
I am thankful for the abounding amount of things I have to be thankful for.
