Six years ago today I experienced death in a very real and unexpected way, the death of my Grandma Karen Ecklund.
She believed in me.
She had her own secret recipes.
She placed faith in the center of her family.
She was humble in spirit yet confident in Christ.
She had all the birthdays, anniversaries, and important dates committed to memory.
She always listened.
She welcomed all in and loved without boundaries.
She had the prettiest smelling house.
She spoke with grace and led a life of peace.
She is one missed lady and I cherish her presence in my life for fifteen years. Thank you Lord for the humility and hospitality you taught me through the example of my grandma.
