Ah, a day off. Those have been few and far between since being back home. But today I have enjoyed getting caught back up on life, returning phone calls, organizing all my belongings, and even squeezed a run into the early afternoon.
I hadn't eaten lunch previous to running and didn't feel like anything huge afterwards so I popped open the fridge and found a bunch of leftover fruit from having company in town this past weekend. It was looking pretty dismal to eat alone so I figured why not transform it into a delicious smoothie.
It turned out to be delicious and also energizing, a perfect boost for the rest of my day off. Below is the recipe, give it a try and let me know if you change or add anything.
