I am currently home for the longest I have been home in a month, three days. I haven't done laundry in far too long, I haven't blogged in over a week, I haven't unpacked and repacked for next week's travels, I haven't done much at all.
As much as I would love to, that is not what this place is about. This place is a sacred place to rejuvenate, feel reconnected, and recharge the somewhat weary traveler's body I currently carry on my size eight feet.
All the things I feel like I should do or need to do cannot compare to the things that I actually need. Rest, peace, Jesus, consistency, people.. this is what my soul is seeking. Therefore I am going to retreat back to this place, away from the burdens that sometimes weave in and out of life.
