One day till Thanksgiving friends! Set the tables, roast the turkey, and get your hearts prepared for this season of sharing and gratitude. We have been celebrating all week long with Friendsgiving last Sunday and two family gatherings this week.
Green bean casserole is Jacob's Thanksgiving heart throb and it the first dish we raise our hand to bring. I'm not blind to the fact that you too have probably made this one hundred and three times but since it is such a classic, why not share it? It will all save us a trip to the recipe box.
What You Need:
2 Cans Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup
8 Cups Cooked Cut Green Beans
2 1/2 Cups of French Fried Onions
1/2 Cup of Milk
1/2 Teaspoon of Black Pepper
How to Make It:
1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
2. Cook your green beans.
3. Stir together soup, milk, green beans, black pepper, and half of the french friend onions in a casserole dish.
4. Bake for 25 minutes and then stir.
5. Sprinkle the remaining onions on top and cook for five more minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
6. Eat up!
