DIY Wedding Photo Books

Shutterfly is an According to Laura Jean affiliate however all opinions and reviews are my own experiences with the company.
It was our first Christmas as a wedded couple and we thought long and hard about what to gift each set of parents. Gift giving is a special act of sharing and expressing love to me and we wanted the gifts to be more than something that was put in the back of a closet.

Photos are my way of remembering and documenting life's moments however I am absolutely terrible at ever doing anything with them. My memory fails me from time to time, but looking through photos brings out the archive of events over the years. It was time to finally put them to use. Thanks to Shutterfly and their creative photo opportunities, we decided on making personal photo books with photos from our June wedding.

It was an simple process to place photos in their pre-made templates and create a beautiful pages that looked fresh and reflective of our day. We made a few special pages dedicated to family photos, you know the ones that parents gush over with all the kids together and grandparents smiling with pride. We were also able to make specific pages for getting ready, the ceremony, reception and other special moments throughout the day.

They make the perfect coffee table books and our parents love sharing the photos in real life instead of on the computer. Score a few points for Laura and Jake with an awesome Christmas gift. Christmas may be over, but it is never too late to make your photos and memories come to life with Shutterfly.
