Great Christmas Exchange Reveal

Christmas has come and gone just like that, but as was emphasized in our Epiphany sermon on Sunday, it should still be near to our hearts in the coming months. I loved celebrating the season with some of my closest blog friends in the Great Christmas Exchange 2014. It's essentially one big postal party that includes some of my favorite things in life - mail, pretty packages, thoughtful gifts, and community.

What I Sent:
The lovely lady I was shopping for shares the name Laura with me, from A Nurse and a Nerd! After digging into her blog and life a wee bit it became evident how many exciting things were happening - a new car, an upcoming gender reveal of her baby, Christmas, and becoming a mother. I decided to send a celebration box to encourage her with everything that is ahead.

I sent a motherhood journal to celebrate motherhood, a Christmas tree ornament to celebrate the holidays, he or she chocolate bars to celebrate the gender reveal, a car air freshener to celebrate the new car, and lastly a handmade scarf to celebrate Laura! And of course, everything was wrapped with a touch of washi tape.
What I Received:
One cold winter day, after getting off work early, I found myself locked outside our apartment. It happens more than I care to admit with my forgetful self but on this occurrence I had a special box from my favorite Samantha, of Elah Tree, to enjoy. Let me just put it out there, she is the best gift giver.

Between the deliciously soft caramels, wooden heart ornaments, clutch, and West Elm bowls my heart was swooning. Her sweet note also made it evident of the time and thought she put into this gift. Thanks Samantha!
