Week's End Wrap-Up

MOMENTS:
1. Take me back to Washington! This past week was an incredibly rainy one and reminded me of my visits to the Pacific Northwest. It rains and rains and rains, but when the sun shows up everything pops with hues of green. I love to beauty captured in this photo.

2. Less than a week after planting my little seeds they have developed into sprouts! I am not sure if being a plant mom is a thing, but I totally feel like one. It is so fun to watch something grow and develop over the course of days and weeks. Before long we will be eating fresh spinach and arugula like rabbits.

3. This weekend's weather made us feel like giddy teenagers, running around town, soaking up the vitamin D. We had an Italian soda date, went to the local track meet, and walked everywhere. One of our favorite parts of small town life is leaving the car in the garage and using our bikes or feet as transportation.

4. I made the front page of the newspaper! Say what? I was approached by a writer and photographer a few weeks ago to do an interview regarding my blog and being bald. I didn't really know what to expect, but after several emails and calls from people in the community, I realized my article not only made this week's newspaper, but was front and center above the fold. Talk about an honor! If you're here because of the article, welcome, I am so glad you have stopped by!
