Playing with Neutrals

Outfit Details: Black & White Striped Shirt | Gold Necklace | Green Maxi Skirt | Two-Toned Flats (similar)

Neutrals are my thing. Maybe this classifies me as boring, but I especially love earth tones and natural colors.  If you were to take a look at my closet, which to no surprise is color organized, you would see a huge chunk of gray, black, and cream tones with a few accent colors in between. Green being one of them.

Green is by far my favorite color and I searched far and wide for a long, flowing skirt for the spring and summer. Bingo! Loft answers the longings of a heart. This sheer and lightweight maxi skirt is a staple of my warm weather wardrobe. I am not a fan of typical maxi skirts that hug the hips and legs so this one is perfect as it falls gradually from the waist.

This skirt paired with my recent obsession of a black and white striped shirt from ThredUp makes for the perfect date night or friends evening outfit. Quick, comfortable, and charming defines this outfit and my style personality.

P.S. As a quick public service announcement, I want to share my love for ThredUp with you. This online consignment store sells thousands of like-new clothes from brands you love. Gap, J. Crew, Banana Republic, and Loft are some of my favorites although there are many, many more represented. I have bought several of my minimalist wardrobe pieces through ThredUp and have had outstanding experiences. I encourage you to give it a try and receive $10 your first purchase. With full disclosure, you will be using an affiliate link of mine, but I am sharing simply out of love for an outstanding company.
