Smithfield Marinated Pork Kabobs

It is safe to say Autumn is in full swing. School is in session, the leaves are changing and the colors are vibrant. I love the way different climate seasons provide the opportunity to eat seasonally and change up traditional recipes. Jake and I like to add some variety to our regular meal plan and the change of seasons provides the perfect time to try a new recipe or two. As much as we like to try new things, however, we always keep simple and easy at the forefront of dinner time.

Today I am sharing one of our recent creations that falls in this category, Smithfield Marinated Pork Kabobs! With only five ingredients and four steps, this recipe is a keeper. These kabobs are so fun to make, especially for a gathering of people. On the way to my parents house, Jake and I swung by Walmart to pick up a few basic ingredients for a delicious grilled meal. We did not want to worry about a bunch of prep work, so we decided on Smithfield Mesquite Pork Loin Filet to provide an automatic, abundant flavor for our kabobs.

The best part about kabobs is that you can personalize them to your taste buds. I love, love, love grilled pineapple, bell peppers, pork and onions, but choose to pass when it comes to tomatoes. The individualized options are endless! We love spending time around the dinner table with family and friends. We strive to make our meals delicious, yet simple to spend as much time with loved ones instead of in the kitchen. Creating a delicious and colorful meal doesn't have to be difficult after all.

Ingredients:
Smithfield Mesquite Pork Loin Filet
Pineapple
Bell Peppers
Tomatoes
Onion

How To:
1. Cut all of your ingredients into small cubes.
2. One by one build a kabob to your liking, adding pieces of pork, pineapple, bell peppers, tomatoes and onions.
3. Grill your kabobs over medium heat for 20-25 minutes. We found that a lower temperature, with slower cook time keeps all the flavors vibrant.
4. Serve and enjoy!
